Capitol Reef has a visitor center where you can learn about the park's geological and anthropologic history. Located a mile away from the visitor center, you can see the Historic Gifford Farmhouse. It is a pioneer museum and country store and a fun stop to make.

There are many casual trails to explore and see the beautiful views. There are cafes, shops, galleries, and more to explore as you relax and enjoy nature.

Some fun ways to enjoy Capitol Reef National Park is by going fishing, bird watching, and viewing the amazing wildlife. For fishing there are plenty of streams and lakes to try out for a great day of fishing. Blind Lake and Fish Lake are great places for trout fishing. Explore the area and see free-roaming bison, lizards, deer, rabbits, coyotes, and more. You can bird watch and see the beautiful Golden Eagle!

If you are looking for a little more of an adventure or thrill, there are some great mountain biking trails! There are plenty of options for different levels of mountain bikers. There are easier and more strenuous trails, as well as shorter and longer trails.
