FAQ

  • Check In and Out

    All reservations have a contactless check-in and check-out process. Our property is equipped with a keyless entry door lock that will assign a unique door code for each guest. Guests will be provided the code in a text message the day of check-in.



    Guests do not need to check-in or out with property staff. Simply, go to your assigned unit, enter the assigned door code, and enjoy your vacation!



    Early check-ins or late check-outs are subject to availability. Please reach out to us with your request.

  • Pet Policy

    Pets are only permitted in Room #1. A one time, non-refundable pet fee of $30 is required at time of booking.



    Additional cleaning and damages charges may be assessed. We ask that pet owners be mindful of the other guests and keep dog(s) on leash(es) while outside as well as pick up after them. Dogs are not to be left unattended in the room. 



    We reserve the right to charge guests $100 for bringing unauthorized pets into rooms other than #1. 


    We recommend Color Country Animal Welfare to board during the day, as dogs are not permitted in the majority of Capitol Reef National Park.

  • Cancellation Policy

    Motel Torrey has a lenient cancellation policy. For reservations booked directly on our site, guests can cancel 3 days prior to check-in day for a full refund. 

    Please contact staff directly to cancel a reservation.

  • Other Policies

    Check-in is anytime after 3pm MST. Check-out is 10:00 am. 



    All rooms are non-smoking. We maintain a smoke/vape free property. 



    Quiet Time -For the comfort of all our guests, we ask to keep noise at a minimum between the hours of 10:00 pm and 7:00 am.



    Housekeeping policies: For guests staying 3 nights or less there is no daily cleaning service. For longer stays, we will refresh towels and take out your trash upon request. Call (435) 429-2757 for any housekeeping related issues.



    Motel Torrey reserves the right to charge extra for any stolen property and/or damages to rooms and room contents including overly soiled or damaged furnishings, towels, and linens.




    We respectfully reserve the right to decline service to any patron at our discretion.



  • Winter Time

    For guests that are staying with us during the area's "Off Season" (Nov to Mid March) - please be aware that the majority of restaurants are closed, as well as the town's General Store (Chuckwagon). 


    Winter is a great time to beat the crowds and enjoy cooler weather, but please be sure to do your research on food options and come prepared. Royal's Food Town in Loa (approx. 20mins away) is the closest grocery store for year round shopping.
